Have a wonderful Memorial Day, everyone! I've been busy combating senioritis and all of that wonderful sh*t that goes with having only FOUR FRIGGIN DAYS OF HIGH SCHOOL LEFT plus my two jobs and whatnot, and I've managed to make a banner. SUBMIT, PEOPLE! I CAN'T DO THIS BY MYSELF!!! I need people to poke me repeatedly with the Stick of Motivation and the Stick of Memorize Your Password And Keep It In A Safer Place Than Your Glasses Case to boot.
I'd better get my stuff up too... I'm such a hypocrite, lol. And why the f*ck do I keep worshipping Myo when I have a boyfriend now? It's just one of life's little mysteries, I guess. Like where do socks escape in the wash and they come back four months later with with an unexplained case of Montezuma's revenge? And who says all your base are belong to anybody? Do chickens have large talons? Are you suggesting coconuts migrate? Is there are deeper psychological reason why the chicken crossed the road?
Gaaah, I've been hanging around Elise and Nick and Noel and Canada and Eric and Rusty and the South Park BBS too much, which explains my randomess and insanity.
I know you're wondering... what makes this different from the other shrines? There are so many other fan-created shrines to Lord Myotismon/Lord Vamdemon that are a lot better than this one (and have been around much longer.) Well, instead of being a generic shrine that just gave out his profile info and gallery images (Immortal Darkness and The Dark Prince of the Blood have established a much better precedent that I can't top), I've decided to make this unique and devote it solely to... THE FANS!!!
My favorite part of the shrines has always been the fan art and fiction. And now, I've finally gotten off my preoccupied arse and updated ND for the first time in months.
Your webmistress in a nutshell: My name is Athena1999. I'm eighteen years old, live in some boonie in Wisconsin you've probably never heard of, and am involved with too much stuff. Next year I'm moving to Minnesota for college. Besides Myo-Sama, I'm also an aficionado for South Park and all Tim Burton movies.
Nightmare Domain was created in 2003, but the first version was a piece of crap, with basically nothing except a profile of Myo. I never had time to update, and by July 2005 I went back to the drawing board, asked a few other owners for input, and ND was reborn. Hopefully this version will be more successful.
And now, without further ado, we present the categories (note: I know the links don't work now, but I'm waiting for people to send their stuff in first.):
FAN ART: Art of or involving Vam/Myo. Whatever doesn't fit into any of the below categories.
FAN FICTION: Stories about Vam/Myo... or maybe it just majorly involves him.
POETRY: Just what it says. Poems, songs, whatever!
FAN-CREATED FORMS: This one's a good one. Got a new form for Vam/Myo? His Rookie or Champion forms, or maybe a mode change or new Mega? Plus, you can even create a profile for those new forms, which is always fun! I doubt this has been done on other shrines.
THE MEMORIAL: Again, something I doubt has been done before. Here, you can post images or messages or poetry or whatever that mourns Myo's death... you know what I mean? Just a tribute to him or whatever.
Anyway, you basically know that it's all about the fan stuff. So E-mail me and just attach your work. Tell me what kind of category to put it in, and it's rating (G, PG, PG-13, or R. If it's NC-17, I'm not putting it up.), and then expect it on the site within a week or so.
One more thing: let me know what you want your pen name to be! ^^
